I'm so jealous! I have no bloat, no bump,no big boobs and no m/s and I'm not peeing much. I swear if I didn't see the baby I'd swear I wasn't pregnant :(
Oh my goodness, you're so tiny that the "bump" really shows! It's adorable! I love it! And I'm jealous, because the way I expanded all over it was a tossup between fat and pregnant until about twenty weeks, lol. I hope you're not trying to keep this a secret from anyone because it's totally obvious :) So excited for you! Also, the good news is that if you're pretty skinny when you GET pregnant (as I was the first time) you usually feel movement earlier (I started to feel my first one at thirteen weeks, which sounds insane but was confirmed via ultrasound one time; he was squirming around and I put my hand over my eyes and told the tech when he was moving because she thought I was crazy--I was right!). A good way to feel movement really early is to drink a glass of OJ and then lie flat on your back on a hard surface (like carpeted floor yes, bed no) and close your eyes and do some deep breathing. I had to do breathing exercises during one of three pregnancies and noticed the baby always went crazy when I did them even though I was totally relaxed; then I read somewhere that deep breathing gives them an extra little boost of oxygen and that's why Lamaze is so big on it during labor because the baby is stressed by labor and that helps them tolerate it better. I can't wait to see you get bigger and bigger!
My blog definitely contains a bit "TMI" (Too Much Information) at times. But I really wanted to be very open about my journey, and I am a very open person. (And yes, people do sometimes say “Thanks for Sharing” to me in real life :) If you don’t want to read about "womanly" issues, you probably doesn't want to venture any further into my blog! ;)
I am 39 years old with cystic fibrosis. For the CFers who may be interested, my FEV1 is 115%, my genotype is dF508/R117H, and I am pancreatic sufficient. The primary way CF impacts me is chronic sinusitis and repeated bronchitis and mild pneumonia. My sputum cultures show pseudomonas aeruginosa(PA). I have only been hospitalized twice. I have been on Kalydeco since February 2015.
My husband, Greg, and I have two daughters: Lily, age 5, and Grace age 3.
I started this blog to share our journey towards conceiving our first child, and to share the information we learned along the way in case it may help other women with CF. During our struggle with infertility, this blog was a wonderful way for me to connect with other women who were dealing with similar struggles.
I now write this blog to share my life as a mom with CF! It has been an amazing journey!
